Despite our totally radical and hellish name, the Hamburger Hellfriends are a friendly bunch. That said, we like to maintain a friendly and easygoing atmosphere for all members involved so that everyone can have fun and feel comfortable while they play. With that in mind, here are a few rules surrounding some etiquette and privileges offered by BURG.
Rules- Regarding Chat - Ultimately, chat is a safe place for everyone, and that is our biggest rule. What that means is simply that though we joke around a lot, we typically avoid avoid making jokes which are rooted in bigotry, misogyny, or various phobias. The fastest way to not be a friend of BURG is to continuously joke about sexist, misogynistic, homophobic, racist, or transphobic issues.
- Regarding Gardening - The garden is open to everyone who wants to use it but we do have a few guidelines that we ask you follow before you start your gardening adventure. The first is that if there are currently plants in the garden, ask someone before you go planting. If someone is midway through doing intercross stuff, they may need the whole garden for a little while. The second is that we ask that, unless given permission by the person who planted it, please do not harvest someone else's crops! There's a rewarding feeling in being able to harvest your own stuff after sometimes weeks of work to get just the right seeds and plants and the person who did the work deserves their entire reward!
- Regarding the Company Chest - We currently allow everyone in the Free Company access to all three Company Chest tabs and we allow some members to deposit gil but not withdraw while others can deposit and withdraw. For the items, you're free to use them if you need them, but please don't contribute items that are insignificant or otherwise very easy to get in large quantities. The reason being that we don't want to fill our chest with clutter. Chances are if it sells for 6 gil on the Market Board, we probably don't want to bother keeping it in the FC Chest. As for the gil portion, all gil contributed is to fund Free Company affairs and expenditures. It isn't to be taken and spent on personal items as you see fit (although on rare occasion, exceptions have been made.) That being said, please don't feel like you have to contribute monetarily. It's easy for some and a lot harder for others so it isn't something we actively seek out.
